Faverolles Thread

Here is Caramel on champions row yesterday:

400

400

400

Congratulations !

I am interested in purchasing some Faverolle chicks. I live in North Texas and it seems these are hard to come by around here. I don't want more than 4 or 5 so I cannot order from a hatchery because they have a min number of chicks they will ship.

Does anyone on BYC currently have any Faverolle chicks for sale or coming up for sale that is not too far away?

If you don't mind about show quality, Meyer Hatchery will ship just 3 chicks during the warmer months (April, May) and they have S.F.

I have Faverolles in Central Kansas. I will have chicks all Spring.
For an order of 4 or 5, it will have to be farm pickup.
I am an hour or so north of Wichita, 6 hours north of Dallas, if you're up for a road trip.

So I think I want to try my hand at breeding faverolles. This would be as a first time breeder of course, but I would need to find some breeding stock as all my previous faverolles I've had are no longer. Any help on breeding them would be much appreciated as I don't really know what I'm doing yet.

X2. I'm looking for breeders in my area.
