Bantam Faverolles: girl or boy? Was born with black wing feathers so I was certain it was a boy, but now I'm not so sure ...

I'm thinking girl because of the white on her chest! My girl had some black primary feathers but she's one hundred percent female (and dumb as a board but I love her. xD)

I would definitely say girl, if it was a boy she would have black feathers for sure, sometimes darker girls will have darker to almost black and sometimes black feathers but your girls feathers are also round and not pointed like a cockerel's. :)

LOL is this a Faverolle trait? Mine's as cute as a button but about as smart as one, too!
Haha, apparently. Today I let the girls out and my dad walked by with the dog, which startled them. Peaches (my faverolle) ended up in the coop by herself and didn't realize she could get out so she was just sitting in there crying. I opened the coop door so she could get out but that let a ray of sun fall onto her so she decided to drop down right there and fall asleep. I wish a got picture!

Unquestionably a pullet. Cockerels look completely different.

Pullets do have dark grey/black primaries and salmony secondaries. But once you start seeing creamy chest and leg feathers you can be sure it's a pullet. Sometimes a light colored cockerel will have salmony secondaries but they will be more mottled in appearance. However unlike pullets you will have black chest and leg feathers.

Here is a young cockerel and young pullet. This male is fairly uniform in color but they can also be very messy colorwise.
