I emailed him for one I don't feel comfortable posting it as its not my pictures but I will PM you with it. I don't like the pullet that much but I really like the color on the cockeral. They will make good outcrosses for Nikki's line.​

I will wait and see how this pullet you didn't like.....perhaps some bad photos sometimes do not do the bird justice. I hope she ended up where she should be.

i see what you mean. she has a little too much black on her wing primaries and tail. i wonder if she will loose those as she gets to her adult moult. the roo does look like a beautiful one!

i'd keep her even just to see if any chicks produced by her would be better looking than her as they develop. it might be that a good roo would help to produce some better traits in the offspring.

I will be breeding her to my blue salmon cockeral as I have been advised not the breed the pair together so I will be using them for outcrossing to Nikki's birds hopefully its just her posture in the pictures I have taken pictures that don't even look like my birds at all.​

Had anyone else read Peter Merlin's page about selecting and breeding faverolles I just read it tonight and I found it very informative I am defently going to use his advice in my culling and breeding pen selections even though I am selecting bantams and he has or had Large Fowl. Its a great resource! Anyone else read it?

Yep and I forgot who sent me that link, I think it was either Rose or Dick that did about six or seven years ago. I bookmarked that site since then. It is very wonderful "brochure" of its own!
