Oh he is so noisy oh gosh! I need to find him a friend I don't have another hatch for another 10 days! Anyone have bantam chicks its rediculous how loud this baby is! I am going to put a stuffed animal in with it for now.
more roos than you need Henry! congrats on your hatch and good luck getting him to quiet down some.
my Chickie was like that for the first 2 weeks. when i would go to bed and get anywhere near his brooder aquarium he would start in with his constant peeping and chasing me from one end to the other till i picked him up for a cuddle and kiss. he would do it just before i would wake up too! now he doesn't crow till i go to feed, water and pet him in the morning, doesn't crow a moment before then! (he's my house pet/roo too!)
Good news from my house!! My first Fav chick that I posted about a while ago is a GIRL!!!!! She's finally feathered out enough to tell. Woo hoo!! I really hoped it would be so I could keep her. YAHOO!!!!!

Well Henry, at least it is obviously strong and healthy if it can make that much noise.
Glad to hear your singleton is doing well even if she is driving you nuts. Its not looking like anything is going to happen with the three Faverolles eggs that I have still waiting in the incubator (day 23). I probably made too many mistakes during early incubation. I am going to give them until Saturday morning and then call it quits. However, the two EE/Faverolles chicks that hatched are running around and being little monsters. I'm really curious to see how they turn out.
I have already ordered some eggs from pasofinofarm that will be shipped next week (white, salmon, blue salmon and mahogany). Hopefully, I will do better the second time around. Good luck with the other eggs that you have in the 'bator.
