Faverolles Thread

Ah too bad for me. I sure was hoping for a female from my Roo boy. I thought so too about the comb but the mannerisms seemed more female. Im still hoping female and I guess time will tell for sure.

Here is a pic of a sibling, sort of. Different mama but same daddy. This one does have the fifth toe and muff appearing.
Boy or girl, what do you think?

So the chick is out and is running around everywhere Mamma was still sitting tight hopeing for more babies from the fake eggs so I took them from her hopefully she will pay more attention to the little one. It looks to be a salmon or blue salmon but we will see it has a huge beard and just OK toes.

Can anyone show me a picture of ideal toes and legs with their feathering? Oh, and describe the breed standards? I'd like to know so I can watch as my babies develop. When it comes time to choose a roo to keep I'll post pictures, but until then I'd like to learn what to watch for.
