We'll see how he looks by then, so I'll know if I need to get another cockerell or not. he sure is ugly right now. Heehee. Kind of anticipating getting one for sure. Can't wait!!
It's weird that they are such racket makers now but sounds like they mellow right on out and become lap dogs for some people.

Hi There!

I know this is long overdue-

I'm relatively new to the great bird known as the faverolles- (have had parrots for over 25 years) and and have a few issues I need to get with you guys/gals on. I have a couple of LF regular faverolles (1 boy, 2 girls, hatched 5/6); and some LF white faverolles (1 boy, 4 girls, hatched 4/15 but purchased from BYC member last month.)

1) I want to join the faverolle fanciers club but couldn't get good information from the web site. Who do I contact/what do I need to do?

2) I would also like to get some more nice, white faverolles. A good white roo or hen to expand the bloodline would be great since the ones I have are brother/sister (they were up for auction a month or so ago and the hens have a slight tint, the cockerel is pretty good.) I thought about breeding the roo to my salmon girls to get another recessive white, but that's just going to take longer to get back to white. If I can get a nice white from someone else that would shorten this part by year(s).

I've been trying to read through the thread but it's quite long- and there's no actual contact info for anyone which I can find (which I can understand.) If I try a search I come up with 100+ pages!

I know which birds you got - they'll be a nice start. If he would've shipped, they would've been MINE! LOL Anyway, I have 3 nice white cockerels, it's too hot to ship right now, but if you're not in a hurry....as long as everyone keeps getting along, I'm going to hang onto them for a while, so when it cools off a little if you still haven't found one, contact me and I'll let you know if I still have an extra one if you'd like!

I played around with the camera some more today so here are a few more pictures of my birds if you guys aren't tired of seeing them yet. I am packing up cleaning coops and doing all that now.
