Just had to post a cute pic...this chick hatched yesterday under MY FIRST BROODY FAV!!! A bantam blue salmon pullet I hatched from Henry's eggs...mama's teaching baby how to drink water...

Just hatched first chick from my salmons today. It's all alone in there. Nothing else has hatched. Getting worried. No more pips either. Today is day 21. Orps and favs. It is super cute though. Still not fluffed good yet!

Thanks, I already contacted him, but he has nothing until the spring. Rose Isgrigg also lost a number of birds to a predator and is in the same boat. I was really hoping to pick up something at Ohio, but everyone only has bantys.

Buff, of the three eggs I had given that broody, this was the only chick that hatched...so far. Luckily though I have 4 two week old favs in the brooder (and a slightly older d'Uccle pullet chick that sits on them all like she's their mama). Good luck with the rest of your hatch!
