sending those good hatching vibes your way, along with a pullet dance

I'll send some vibes your way. So far I've gotten 2 pullets and an undecided on previous hatches and hatching right now 6 out of 10 out and looking great!!

Here are some of the pics I took. Anyone ever notice how antsy chickens get around cameras? First roo is a red salmon. None of my pics of the whites or the other LF came out - all fuzzy. Had a fabulous time - so wonderful to meet Leisha, Cassandra, Neil, and Jackie, although the last two are not on BYC. Can't go to the Ohio National next year, as I'll be going to the Crossroads Show, but I hope some more fav people will be there. What a treat to see favs other than my own!! This cemented my love for this breed, and reenforced my feelings of sorrow for those who don't have them. Leisha, thanks again for giving me my own little mini-lesson - THAT'S what I drove 12 hours for - not to win any ribbons.

Do you mean a cockerel breeding pen and a pullet breeding pen? It works for other breeds (silver and gold duckwing games come to mind), but it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. I can't think of any accepted silkie color where it would be of any benefit. Do you have a silkie project, or one of those salmon colored silkies?

Speaking of Silkie Faverolles, I have a question. I accidently hatched a couple silkie x faverolles and at 4 weeks old they aren't showing any silkie traits. Can I breed them back to my faverolles?
