Hi, he is light in color and has some good points about him. I could tell he'd been with those loving females from the look of his beard...He's big enough and the type and body are nice. Comb is especially nice. How old is he?

Peter

He's just now 7 months, so he is still a little young, He was with 10 hens but I narrowed it down to 4.

I'm a little sensitive about my photos right now, due to a recent photo theft, so I'd wonder if the bird owners will be getting credit for the photos, and also what kind of distribution / who is going to see it / how is it being used?? Thanks!

Whoops! I didn't see this post until now. The project is actually a painting that I'll be using in my college portfolio, and using copyrighted/stolen images is a no-no for us. The painting will most likely end up in a show or two, but ultimately it will be featured on my kitchen wall when completed.

I need to get the right pose but also some really good references for coloring, so I might use the pose of one picture but the feathering from another. If there is a picture that has really nice detail and a nice pose then I can pretty much just make a portrait of that bird.
Thanks for the question - as an artist I know how it feels to be sensitive about people stealing photos/art.

Ok, my five chicks are two weeks old today. Where are the good pics of the wing feathers that tells me what I have? Or rather, what someone else will have, as I am taking them to a mini "poultry expo" tomorrow to sell them for backyard pets. Right now, four of the five look alike - - which, of course, means they are all roos, right?

Thanks guys!

Do you have some good pictures of your hens? Since you live quite close, I would like to see them.....please.

Not on my work computer. I can try to get some on here over the weekend.
