Peter you could prob take some lessons from Sierra also. Her eggs made it to IN all the way from CA in perfect condition. So far out of the few egg shipments I have had she has packed the best. It took me 45 min just to get 7 eggs out of the packing!

I got some goose eggs from Sierra and they were packaged really well but apparently the PO played football with it or something. 2 of 7 eggs broke and a couple cracked all loose aircells

nothing 100% I guess
Still waiting on them to show development......

When you candle an egg with a loose aircell you'll actually see the aircell move around inside the egg. Sometimes just loose and will just slide around in the big end if the egg other tines completely detached and will float all the way to the other end if inverted. All three shipment of eggs I've gotten recently had some or all loose it detached aircells. Never had this much trouble before!!!

One thing we can say. The issues are not from Sierra with the way she packs. It comes from the jerks at USPS. I wish they could handle fragile items as fragile.I can just picture them tossing them around. Not all. I do know one who I got my Marans eggs from and he is good with the shipped eggs.

i swear when something says 'fragile' on the side of the package, the PO people think it is like a gift personally for them and they have to shake the box to hear what it is! i haven't been having any luck yet this year with shipped eggs! i'm hoping my 2 shipments coming this week will change that!

Did you win the auction from Catalpa Gove (Pontious)? Gayle packs REALLY well. I had 11 of 12 hatch from their eggs, and nice toes on all of them!

i won her blue salmon eggs. sort of makes me wish i had also bid on her regular salmons too! i had already won another action from someone listing from Ohio. and now i am bidding on some more salmon & blue salmons from someone else from Texas that the girls look decent and their egg color looks good too!

Cindy, let me know if this weekend works to swing by and pick up those 2 pullets from you and where you want to meet. i have to swing by Shay's to get something from her.
