Favorelle chicks-fragile???

I have a friend that has ordered Salmon Favorelle chicks 2 years in a row....and both years all have died. All the other breeds seem to be fine, except for the favorelle's....any ideas as to why? Thanks.

I have 5 in my brooder right now (first time with chicks), and so far I can say they are the tiniest little things. I hope I have some luck.
