They make great pets,

They are beautiful to look at,

They are great for people who don't have a large garden,

They are easy to breed and friendly,

The eggs are very delicious - just use 2 or 3 to make one egg, or use the smaller eggs in salads or sandwiches.

They are easy for children to handle and great show birds for competitions.

Everyone likes different things, and if you don't like bantams they why are you taking part in a thread about peoples favourite bantams?!

heheh, my husband says the same thing What's the point? He failes to see the cute factor as an issue and we have plenty of room so their space efficency failed to move him. The only thing that changed his mind was eating an egg. he thinks they taste richer.

On another practical note, you can fit more egg per gallon in a canning jar for pickled eggs if they are bantam eggs. They also don't take as long to boil. And your non-chicken friends will ooh and aww over the tiny appetizer size deviled eggs

Would love some OEG bantams, but am going to be hatching out seramas, and have to admit they were my first choice anyway. Can I vote twice?
