I used to like Chinese and Africans best and while I still LIKE them, I absolutely LOVE Pilgrims.

Dewlap toulouse are my favorites because they are the quietest geese I've been around and mine have been very gentle (although we shall see how the gander is once the gals start laying).

I also have sebbies and buff americans. Both are also nice geese. Sebbies feathers are great for crafts/art/wedding hairpieces.

Roman Tufted and Sebbies - the Roman's are very quiet, my Sebbies are too...both breeds have been very calm and peaceful for me.

I've only had one breed of geese so I don't know what the other breeds
are like but I thoroughly enjoy my Sebastopol Geese.
Geese are just so incredibly interesting and fun birds to have around.
They are much more intelligent and personable than chickens
and even ducks.
I only wish I had gotten them sooner in life.
