Leghorns - great productivity, and no others are more beautiful.
Polish and silkies are certainly eye candy and I like looking at them. I had several varieties of polish. However, those two breeds are among my least favorite. They are just too vulnerable to predation.
I much prefer a breed I can free range with every imaginable sort of predator afoot without supervision and at the end of the day, they all go back to their buildings at night to be locked up.
The predator proof breeds are NOT calm, docile lap pets.
That would be Penedesenca, Empordanesa, Minorca, Ancona, Jaerhon, Andalusian, Campine, Fayoumi, Hamburg, Spanish, etc..
None of those are on your initial list.
All large fowl. I like big eggs and a bird big enough to eat.
After over 30 breeds, I've settled on my all time favorite and I currently only have Penedesencas. It has been a long time since one was taken by a daytime predator.
It is usually a rooster killed by a coyote while protecting his flock. Hawks aren't a concern any more.

My Pekin chicks, love em to death.
My favorite has been my bielefelder from day one. I wasn't planning on this breed and the farmer/breeder talked me into it. She lays the biggest darkest eggs of all my girls and has the best personality with both people and other chickens.

Old English Game Bantams all the way! 
They’re hardy little birds with wonder dispositions, and not to mention— THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! There are tons of color varieties to choose from. I’d recommend OEGBs to new Chicken parents or even families with kids! I wouldn’t trade my rooster for the world, he is lovely towards people and poultry; he’s a wonderful flock protector as well; tiny birds who are lovely, and they’re even good for free-ranging!! Anyone would love these birds!
