Well, I finally made it over to this board to see what all the fuss is about. Dang, it's hard to keep up with forums LOL

Anyway, gotta cast my vote here...

Love my silky hen... soft and cute and a great momma...

Love my bantam cochins - they are so sweet and funny...

But my faves are my sweet little Seramas! They are so tiny they fit in one hand and they are so friendly, I just cannot believe it. They are so much fun!

I have to say of my lovely ladies, Betty, my barred rock is the sweetest of all. She has such a high cute voice and she chatters at me all the time. Tame and gentle.

My favorite chicken was Alice, an 11 year old Australorp that just died last December. She was bossy, opinionated, feisty, and I just loved her! She came running every time I called, and demanded the best food, the best roosting spot, and kept all the other birds in line. She chased the cat and dog, and loved pecking at the fish swimming in my pond (one of the few things I did yell at her for). She holds the spot of honor in my little chicken graveyard (yes, my neighbors think I'm crazy, but I don't care!).

My favorite are Barred Rocks. They remind me of my childhood and they have the funniest personalities!
My favorite of the flock is Kendra, aka "Chicken Hawk". I rescued her and she just has a special place in my heart. She's still growing her tail back after two of my birds tried to kill her.

Sultan chickens are tha coolest because they look like a silke _? mix!!
