what are your favorite ducks?
im trying to figure out what i should get

My favorite duck is Microduck! But seriously, if I had to choose a favorite breed that would be very difficult. I love my female muscovies, they are quiet. I love my khaki campbells they are beautiful. I love the Mandarins, they're beautful. Love the calls, they're small and funny but LOUD. Point being, it depends on what you want in a duck. So far as I can tell, they are all great from the breeds I have to others I read about.

What would you like in a duck?

Yes, I don't think I have one 'favorite' breed. Mine are utility breeds (meat and/or egg birds). I have pekins, rouens, and cayugas. The pekins, well, I've always loved those.

The cayugas were an impulse buy at the auction, but they are sooooo pretty! The rouens are very colorful, so I guess that's why I have them

It just depends on what you want them for, figure that part out, and it would be easier to decide. Or you could just get one of each.

Welsh Harlequins.

So far I have had khakis, a buff, a runner, and a rouen and the Welsh Harlequins beat them all for personality. They are second to my runner in egg laying but they are not far behind.
