Favorite hen having hard time breathing

I am not an expert by any means, so I'm not sure what I'm seeing. I can't tell if that's my inexperienced eyes or the lighting or both...

The chicken throats that I have looked down have been Pinker than what I thought that I saw. And I wasn't sure that I could see her airway...
Thanks for the corroboration. Yes, a chicken's throat should be pink not yellow. That's really all we needed to see.

She's so pretty . Please tell her that even though she's not feeling well, people are commenting about her & how lovely she is. And that we all hope she's feeling better very soon.

Thank you she is quite special and dearly loved!
The video was good, but too quick for me to really understand what I was seeing. I think I caught a glimpse of yellow plaque. That would indicate an infection in her throat, possibly closing down her airway. The infection may be canker, a protoza that won't respond to an antibiotic. You need an anti-protozoa med like this. https://www.revivalanimal.com/product/fish-zole?sku=22166-698 You can order it and have it shipped right away. Or ask for it at your local Petsmart.

I have some of this! How much do I give her??

This makes sense given that we battle wild bird populations and a lot of water puddles the girls like to drink from despite having plenty of clean fresh waterers...do I need to treat my whole flock even tho she is the only one showing any signs of trouble? What is the best way to do that given that I have 38 chickens and 6 peacocks? How quickly should I see results for Margie after starting treatment?

She's around four pounds do you think? I would break the tab in half and give half in the morning and half at night for five days.

I will be happy to be corrected by anyone who's more familiar with this drug.

You should see improvement in as little as 24 hours.

Order the med I gave you the link for. It can be mixed into the drinking water to treat the whole flock. It wouldn't hurt since they've been exposed, too.

Or you can treat the flock with copper sulfate and ACV if you can find the copper sulfate.

Four pounds sounds about right, she is not a big girl, just fluffy! I have just given her the first dose (1/2 tab) YEAH!!! I honestly cant thank you all enough! I love my girls to pieces, especially this one, and I try so very hard to be sure they have happy healthy lives as our pets and family members!
