What would you guys & gals say are the "must have" reference books for chicken husbandry?

I'm starting a wish list & would be very interested in any suggestions you could offer.

Thanks MUCHOS!

I know because it has "kid" in the title you might be alittle wary, but this one is my chicken bible(next to the standard) A Kid's Guide to Raising and Showing Chickens. Honestly, it's the only book I ever needed.

I would recommend "Storey's Illustrated Guide to Poultry Breeds".

Not only does it cover chickens, but also ducks, geese, turkeys, emus, guinea fowl, ostriches, partridges, peafowl, pheasants, quail, and swans.

It covers breed by breed in detail.

I second LoneCowboy's suggestions.

Although not about chickens, exactly, the book Enslaved by Ducks is hilarious, and definitely gives you a view on the bird addiction. I read it three times in a row it was so fun!
