Favorite movie and why

The Godfather and the sequel are both great, but hard to watch, and I've decided that 'happy endings' are best in my life now. No horror, no nasty 'heroes', no bad endings.

I'm sure I'll think of more! Right now I need movies that are gentle to my soul, nothing intense, as someone else has said, no slashers, no thrillers, nothing intense. No war movies, no vampires, no volcanoes, tornadoes, earthquakes, just easy feel-good movies. Right now the news is intense enough, lol!
