Aw, we were about to watch it at das Kino cause we were watching the rise of Gru, but we had little kids and a carsick kid so we left.

Was the rise of gru good?

It was pretty good! There is a minion and another guy that don't show up in the other movies though, one of those ‘unexplained character disappearances’ when they do a prequel movie after the original ones come out. Otherwise good!

The end was sad. Normally I love it when a main character dies, or it all ends with despair and hopelessness, but the thing with his daughter was sad in a different way.
But I loved the rest of it.

Anyone else hate it when people lose their memory? Like in spider man? Idk why but it drives me crazy when I know something that they lived through as well, but they don’t even know anymore. Time-loops drive me crazy too.
I read a book once that I thought was going to be really cool- but it ended with memory loss and a time loop of the entire book .
