Favorite Nesting Boxes

creative ideas,, I have an old dish washer, pulled out the innards, tossed in some leaves and grass clippings, it's a nest now and active. Plenty of room for big girls, it sets back against the coop with it's door on a cinder block. Another is an old doll bed, 5 gallon buckets, cat litter buckets,,,and where did I find the hidden nest,, in the rabbit poo,,,,

They like it dark and cozy, so an open box just standing there won’t do.
We have the nest boxes built into the wall of the coop sticking out to the outside, with a lid on top). I put up a piece of cotton duck, the bottom cut into wide strips in front of the that, and they have taken to them like fish to water.... So, you want to have a top to your box and a curtain or smallish opening in front.
