I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm sure he knew every day in your care that you loved him very much. I just recently had to say goodbye to my dog Ladybug. She was my "best friend" for 13 years. It was my first time to deal with the loss of a pet. Now that I have so many chickies, I'm just setting myself up for alot more heartbreaks, but as you know, the joy they give us is well worth having them and they are very fortunate too when they have been given a happy life & have been loved.

I'm so sorry. And sad for you and your sweet roo. I have one of those sweeties and they are incredibly special and brave beings. It will be heartbreak when I lose him. There is nothing silly about loving any living, breathing, feeling being. Your friend was also stunningly beautiful.
