Favorite thing YOUR chickens do!

My favorite thing my chickens do is when I'm holding something or taking a picture of them, they tilt their head and look at me with one eye. I think it's so funny! What's your favorite thing your chickens do?

One of my favorite things one of my chickens does is she has the "6th Sense" as I call it. She always knows when you have food, even if you're hiding it. She'll follow you around and beg and whine and do little jumps to try to get your food. I think her jumps are sympathy jumps because she only gets 1-2 inches off the ground, so I think she's just trying to make you feel bad! She'll even walk on your feet to get your attention! She's so funny, I love her so much! But it still beats me how she knows when you have food.

Aw that's funny! Haha I can see animals doing things for sympathy. It usually works too

It sure does! I can never resist her cuteness. I'm such a sucker for cute animals.

I love when my chicks perch on my lap. That was a favorite in our 1st and 2nd chick flocks. I'd sit in the box and they'd crawl all over my shoes and legs.

There are a lot of things, but I always smile when I see a fluffy hen walking swiftly and with a determined stride; I call it "Chicken on a mission!"

My absolutely favorite thing is to hear a contented chicken trill. It sounds so much like purring.

Both my Isa Browns duck their heads down and spread their wings as they come racing across the yard when I have food, or I'm calling "chook, chook!"
