favorite treats for ducklings ???

I feed mine koi fish food, i just chuck some into there pool and away they go, and pea's the love peas ;;

Wifezilla, my adult ducks won't touch them, and the youngest set hates them too, but the intermediate ones that I brooded indoors and tried giving them peas STILL LOVE THEM! In fact, they're the only ones that went after the feeder fish I put in their water bowl too.

Only thing left were some shiny scales. o_o;


But if you start early with treats, they'll know what to do with them.

Oh, sorry to double post, but if you put just about ANYTHING in their water, it'll be instantly eaten compared to walked all over and forgotten if put on the ground.

Dried meal worms are a big hit here too.
hung out a romaine lettuce head yesterday it was gone in about 3 minutes.

Hi my two cambells love cucumber and mashed potato.they are coming up to a year now and we often give them minnows too.As with the chickens they go mad for meal worms

Is one week old too young for them to have peas or any other treat?

No i would give them also cucumber but chop them up finely and they will love it.Plenty of water aswell
