Okay, so what treats do yer chickens just go crazy over??

Personally, mozzarella cheese & meal worms.

Mine like:
Raisons and these little berries that grow on the vines near the fence.
They also like meal worms, crickets, grasshoppers, and cock roaches!, Ham, roasted chicken, hard boiled eggs

They do not like alfalfa sprouts, carrots, cat food, potatos pealings

The kind of like apple peels but on the second day!

Cooked pasta makes them all mental cases.
They love cheese of any kind
They love their own hard boiled eggs, all mashed up
They love grapes
They go crazy over cottage cheese!

Haha, I'll try all of these I haven't already. I just love seeing them go nuts over treats

Apples, beetle grubs and bout any table scraps.

The "treat" they seem to enjoy the most is Styrofoam. Not that I give it to them, but once they found it in the garage it was hard to keep them out.

Of the things I give them, they seem to like everything except potato peels and orange peels.

I thought I heard or read once that potato peels are toxic for chickens.

Without doubt, lettuce. I'll hang a whole head of iceberg lettuce from a string and make a lettuce pinata. They go crazy over it. All nineteen of my Gold Comets will bat it around for almost thirty minutes until there is nothing lelft but the smallest piece of the core. Second would be cooked white rice mixed with yougart. We give them yougart as a probiotic. I'll put it out in a pie tin and get out of the way. If there was an alligator at the bottom of the tin he'd be dead before he could defend himself the way the Gals go at it. They sling yougart/rice everywhere and then when it's all gone they peck it off each other to clean it all up. They also love collard greens. I'll go out and cut a big bag of it out of the garden and when I clean the leaves they get those that don't go into the cook pot. About anything green makes them the happiest.

Mine go the craziest over beetle grubs, love yogurt & go nuts over fresh grass & clover. Oh, & their absolute favorite is the buttons on the back pockets of my pants, which they can't have!
