Favorite type of chicken

Hi everyone!! I do not know anybody here,so, I am trying to get to know some people. So,first off,What is your favorite chicken?mine(as you can see in my username) is The Brahma!!!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. My favorite type of chicken is the Black Sex Link (Black Star) as they are hardy, friendly, and egg laying machines. My favorite standard breed is the Black Australorp as they are very hardy, calm and gentle, and the best layers of the standard brown egg laying breeds. Buff orpingtons are the ones for me!! I love their sweet, cuddly, affectionate and curious personality.

The friendliest in my flock right now are our Exchequer Leghorns that are about 3 months old. They are supposed to be skittish but they love to come up to us and will even jump on us when we bend down. My Easter Eggers will also jump up and roost on our arms if we hold our arms out. And my Red Stars are never upset about being snuggled. I just picked up 2 Black Stars and they seem so calm and friendly as well. The only ones that really don't like to be handled in my group are the White Plymouth Rock and the Buckeye. The Buckeye is always giving everyone the stink eye.
