Favorite video games?

I don't play a whole lot of video games, but my favorite HAS to be Endless Ocean: Blue World! That is the best game I have ever heard of. I couldn't imagine anything beating that on my list! I don't really play it a lot anymore though.
Anyone else LOVE this game?

I got a PS3 for Christmas as well, and I highly recommend you get Katamari Forever and Valkyria Chronicles.

The former is a very creative, colorful game where you literally roll things up in a ball to make your ball bigger. The latter is a 3rd person shooter that has a very heavy strategy aspect to the game.

I really want to get Assassin's Creed as well. I heard that the first one was okay, but the second is much, much better.

I'm not much of a gaming enthusiast, but I enjoy watching my brother sometimes when he visits, and I have to say that my favorite game that he plays is Skyrim. It's got plot, good graphics, and it's got action. What could be better, right? The hilarious glitches and bugs are - it's like an unintentionally comedy-themed game! The non-player computers act like morons and there are too many glitches to list, but all of them, strangely, make for an awesome game.

I was a big video game player in my youth (1990s so it was mainly Super Nintendo). I LOVED Final Fantasy VI (Final Fantasy III here in the USA but Japan had made several more that were never released here). Character develoment, addressing topics like teen pregnancy, suicide, genetic engineering, industrialization, good graphics for the time.

Also played a lot of games like Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat series but mostly liked role-playing games. DBF and I have a game of Resident Evil 5 going on. I'm hooked on that now, but don't tell him

Skyrim. Got it for the DH for christmas, and I have been playing my character on the sly whenever he is busy.

Gears of War 1+2--great story, fun characters, neat weapons, fun combat. Love it!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare--Awesome weapons (stuff that civilians can't have), extremely detailed graphics that make it look real.

Call of Duty Black Ops--The Zombies feature is addictive. Older weapons, you get to learn a little history. Great story, neat details.

Halo--I love piloting the little planes and driving the vehicles!

Forza--lots of cars to paint, drive, wreck LOL!

Civilization IV, bar none. Got it for Christmas, it is the single best (and easily most addictive) game I have ever played. The replay value is insane, and with the Beyond the Sword and Warlords expansions (Beyond the Sword is the best, IMO), it will never become stale. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go bombard the Aztecs with nuclear warheads so that I can get their oil (and more uranium!), then send some Assault Mechs and Dreadnought tanks over the ocean to destroy China and the Holy Roman Empire, fighting alongside my Dutch, Mayan, and Zulu allies who are still in the Renaissance era, then carpet-bomb the Romans and Egyptians before launching a spacecraft to Alpha Centauri.

Just... one... more... turn...
