My chickens have there favortie spot to lay, The big metal wash basin in the corner. They love it , every morning they line up and wait to hop in . Thee problem is that my bossy buff orp will come in and sit on anyone in the nest box, how can i make them lay in differt spots i have put other nest boxs in and put golf balls in .

Also my buff orp wil spread her body across eggs in the nest and puff up and scream like shes broody lately , does that mean shes getting ready to set , somtimes she stays on the nest all day , then she just gets off

Take away the big metal wash basin. Then they will lay elsewhere. Or get another big metal wash basin.

And Yes sounds broody or at least trying.

see she got on the nest a few hours ago, i lifted her up and her egg is layed but shes still on the nest , puffs and screams when i go near her
