Favourite loved pet - unknown breed - plse help

This hen (named Dove) has been hand reared by my 9 year old son. She runs to him if he calls and sits on his lap at lunch and study times! I am trying to determine her breed. Please help. Cobie Odendaal

She looks like a mix breed

Are you in the states? I know there are alot of different breeds outside of here and she may be pure and just not available here, the reason i say this is because she apperars to have spalsh lacing. Where did your son obtain her?

I'm no help when it comes to her breed, but she sure is lovely! She sounds like a sweetheart, too.

A mix of some sort. Feathered feet could be from D'Uccle or Cochin (Brahma's also have feathered shanks, but she doesn't look like a brahma type) Crested part could be from Polish. She's very pretty though.

Looks like a sizzle that got the smooth feathering of the cochin and the crest of the silkie. Real pretty girl!

ETA: I also think I see a hint of a fifth toe on the right leg maybe?

Looks like a Cochin/Silkie cross to me! Is she smallish?

I'm goin to go with a silkie cross of some kind.. she's pretty whatever she is almost looks like a BLRW with a crest an feathered feet

I think there may be some Faverolle in her. She almost looks Wheaton and it would also explain the extra toes and lack of dark skin.
