FBCM chick feathering

I have 3 French Black Copper Marans chicks that hatched 6/2-6/3. The feathering looks to be coming in at a relatively similar rate. When I spread the wings this morning to look at the feathers, one seems to have a copper tinge near the tips on one row of feathers. It's different than the other two. Can both pullets and cockerels have this coloring? For what it's worth, I swear this chick developed a pink comb overnight...and while sleeping with it's siblings I notice the tail feathers sticking up more...but at 12 days old?? That seems way too early to be able to sex. I have zero experience with this (or any other, really) breed. I know it's more or less just "interesting" at this time.
