hello,
I have three wyandottes that are around 7-10 weeks of age. when is it safe to clip their feathers to prevent them from flying over the wall? (the fence is 6 feet tall)

They generally won't go over something that high unless they can get up on something else first.

I dont clip unless it needs to be done. IF they start going over fences, or flying to high I will clip the right wing lightly. I find it only need to be done one time and they learn where to stay.
I dont clip chicks wings, they need them.
