Do Wyandottes have and feather foot genes? I have one it's a blue laced red and blue laced gold mix but it's got 2 feathers on each foot and neither parent has feet feathers and parents are from Hoover's hatchery. She didn't have anything on her feet when she hatched, they started coming in when she was 3-4 weeks old. I think she may also have a pea comb, both parents have a single comb but hers is so small it's hard to tell and I can't get any clear pictures to post but I'll keep trying. Idk what is crossed to create the Wyandottes to tell if pea combs and feathered feet are somewhere in their distant genetics or if there was some accidental crossing at the hatchery that wasn't obvious but I am having lots of fun watching them grow and seeing hidden traits come out.
