How fast do feathers grow out on a baby chick, exactly? I feel like I've been in a time machine. This evening two of them had wing feathers (I'm almost positive those 2 weren't feathered this morning). And yes, I've been checking on them throughout the day to feed and water and pet...but I didn't hold them until tonight. I know these 2 were featherless this morning... lol

Some will feather in pretty fast. I have seen them come out of the hatcher with feathers already.

Thank you for the reply! I woke up today and they're seriously sprouting feathers overnight lol They're looking SO PRETTY! I think it's super fun to watch their feathers grow in and see what their "coloring" is. I love chickens![IMG]
