Feather inside my hen's eye (red eye)

Hello Guys

Today I found a feather that was stuck inside my hen's eye. I removed it, but her eye is red as you can see in the attached image. Is that normal? Should I do anything for her?

You can apply some Terramycin eye ointment or Vetericyn eye gel to her eye twice a day to help prevent infection. If those are not available, I would opt for some eye wash from your local store or pharmacy here:

The tip of the feather was outside her eye so I pulled it out. Is it wrong to do that?

I don't know what's in that eye drop, but if its saline water than it should be fine.

It should be fine, but it is a lubricant eye drop. If you continue to see redness or any gunky drainage, you might get one of the other products I recommended.
