Feather Legged Bantam With Scaly Leg Mites

We have a tiny feather legged bantam that is losing her toenails one by one. We suspect scaly leg mites and want to treat her for it. How do you treat a feather legged breed?

I have a regular Easter Egger rooster that had a very severe case of scaly leg mites.
I put Frontline on his legs to kill the mites. It's in a spray bottle, and a bit expensive, but I use in on my bird dogs also.
