Feather length *PICS*

I have some BO chicks that are starting to get feathers on their wings, they hatched the same day, but 1 has no pin feathers that have opened, the other 2 have opened, but one has very long feathers.
Not sure if this might be an indication of sex this early?

I have 3 BO chickies. One is very assertive, we've painted a green spot on the top of it's head for I.D.

It's wing fethers are fluffier and larger than the other two. We'll keep 'respotting" it's head until we can determine the sex.

I would guess #1, girl and #2, boy. Just a guess though.

I think if the pin feathers are the same lenght it is a cockeral and if one side is longer than the other it is a pullet.

The pullets feather earlier than the cockerels.
