Not sure what's going on or what type this is but poor thing is Just now growing a few new feathers. He looked like this when we got him.

I do not know his history, but I have seen the half naked chicks a lot and most were kept in brooders to long that were to hot. Maybe not in this case?

I hadn't thought of that. We purchased him that way because he was a runt and was being picked on, I have a soft spot for them.
