I just got a female buff goose for my male goose and she has very ripped up raggedy feathers on her back from being with two males at her old home. I’m concerned that they might not grow back is there anything that can make them grow back. And the male goose just bites her and scares her away so she and my male Indian runner made a nest together lol. Is there any way to make the male bond with her or do I need to wait for next breeding season.

Your goose will moult (loose her feathers and grow new ones) around June or July. It's a yearly cycle. They lose all their feathers every year so don't worry.

The gander is just showing he's dominant and they will get along fine. They just need a lot of open space for them to bond. He will follow her as she moves away and within a week the chasing will stop.

Ok thanks. I know they go through molts but it was from being the only female with two males at her old home.

Yeah i seen that problem and they don't look pretty but she will be beautiful again after July.

The extreme feather loss won't give her permanent feather loss so don't worry! :)
