Feather lost on but area I have a Hoover black hen that keeps on losing her feathers just around her butt area do you have any ideas she has no mites she's clean could it just be molting she's not looking too good being featherless on her backside LOL if you have some answers that would be great I am in California thank you

I would suspect you have feather picking going on. Generally caused by boredom and crowding or a protein deficiency. Feeding a higher protein feed, 18-22% can help, and keeping your chickens better.
