Feather Picking?! Help!

I have a rescued duckling that is less than a month old. His tail feathers have just started coming in, and he is pulling the feathers off! He is fed a feed with 20% protein. I think it might be boredom, as I haven't been able to spend much time with him the past few days. Any ideas?

Stuffed animal and an unbreakable mirror might help with the boredom.

I did get him a stuffed animal last week, he loves cuddling with him. I will definitely try a mirror!

Ducks don't do well alone (typically) , if you can't get them a friend, the mirror trick might help.

Mirror or reflections make them feel there is more to the flock they really see themselves or another duck
