over the winter my chickens have been picking at each others feather and they are really picking on one poor girl quite a bit and i am getting concerned and would like to stop the problem as soon as possible. does anyone have any products or home remedies that can stop feather picking? any addvice is welcome.

I just try blu kote. it seems to work only a little bit. I know there are bitter tasting anti pick ointments out there... haven't used any though.

I have read many things...

Rooster Booster's Peck No More

Blu Kote

Up their protein intake.

Give them stuff to occupy them. (Hanging cabbage, mirror in run, hay with feed sprinkled in and on it.)

It's a hard habit to break... I still have issues.

thanks for your help i forgot to mention that i dont have a rooster it is all from the bigger girls in the flock unfortunatly its been a long winter and they have resorted to picking at each other once again thanks
