There is a young woman who has taken a liking to the birds and comes to check them out; this evening she came to see the roost rumble. She texted (I was away) that she saw Lester (mixed 10 month cockerel) pecking at one of the ISAs in front of him this evening. Could be I was mistaken that he is a gentleman?

Must admit it does bother me but more concerned about the coming winter. My sister was to have arrived today but is delayed a week. I will get her to make some back aprons to deter when she gets here.

This was last night and I was not here, I will speak to her about any pics/video and suggest that she feel free. Obviously she is never without her phone.

It can be very hard to ascertain just what is going on without ample observation time and some experience.

My sister will be here for 6 weeks and is a keen observer. However we are neophytes with most chicken behavioural issues.
