More pictures from 6 1/2 weeks. Still interested in opinions regarding what this might be.
First my Partridge Chantecler.
Notice the featherless patch on the neck in the first picture. The second is from under the wing.
The Welsumer.
This one has a larger featherless patch in its neck. It also is sparsely feathered on the top of the head and has nearly no comb development (siblings have had small combs for weeks).
These pictures show the same featherless region under the wings and a small featherless patch in the back. Really, the feathers are thin everywhere.
Siblings of both the Welsumer and Partridge Chantecler are all well feathered, they don't even hint at this condition. This is not a pecking problem -- they have exhibited this condition since hatching.
