Feather Question :/

I have cut most of my hens wings in the past 2 months..I would like to know if they will be grown out by August..

I don't think so. Some of their feathers will be lost and replaced, but I am pretty sure wing feathers are not like toenails.

I could be wrong, but I think they really only get major feather replacement after they moult.

Someone correct me if I am wrong?

Unless they go through a moult, probably not

When you trim feathers, they don't grow new ones until the next time they molt. Normally, they do a big molt in the fall. August would be too early for that, I'm afraid.

Mine always molt around their hatchday. So there is always someone looking nekkid.
