Ooh blue is my favorite color. This spring I got chick fever and ended up with 6 chicks, then a rooster, then adopted/rescued 2 so now i have a manageree if odd balls. I really like ameraucanas and Easter eggers though, I'm thinking about switching over to them.Cream Legbars and the Rose Comb Legbars that I am working on are auto sexing and the pullets and cockerels are easily determined as soon as they are dry from hatching. They also lay pretty blue eggs.
I was thinking they all looked like cockerels, too. How do you know if you have the right chick to feather sexed?Feather sexing only works on one to three day old chicks. Feather sexing does not work on all varieties of chicks.
Pullets will have a double row of wing feathers and cockerels will only have a single row of wing feathers.
My guess is that your chicks are not able to be feather sexed or if they are that all three are cockerels.
Good luck
