Feather Sexing Baby Chicks Help!

Okay thank you! The mixes for one is white leghorn Ameraucana.
Leghorns are fast feathering and you said it was a leghorn egg so that one won't work because the hen needs to be slow feathering.
Without knowing what breed is the rooster and what breed is the hen for each chick there's no way of knowing if you had the right combo or not for it to work.

I might try vent sexing but I have no experience...

Okay thanks! Do you know any other methods to try to identify the gender of my chicks?
You will have to wait until the comb and wattles grow in-- usually 4 to 6 weeks old.

It is one of the fun things about having chicks!

The waiting game lol
I know! if you incubate eggs and hatch chicks, you have to wait 21 days to see if they hatch and then with most breeds you have to wait to see which are pullets and which are cockerels.

Both issues resolve themselves
