Feather sexing- not sure if possible

@pipdzipdnreadytogo do these help (1st one is a little blurry sorry)

Yes, those are much better! I don't see that dark patch in those, so it must have just been the lighting. I'm still not confident because of the comb, but nothing says definitely cockerel on that one so she could just be an early bloomer pullet. :fl

Thanks and yes fingers crossed, hopefully in 2 weeks a more definite answer will be apparent. Thanks for taking the time to look

Alrighty! 2 more weeks have passed chicks are 8 weeks old, I have updated pics--if there are any questionable ones from this group, I will likely have to wait until they crow or significant feathering shows for any males. It was pretty windy today so sorry for some fly-way feathers. @Overo Mare @JedJackson @Tookie @pipdzipdnreadytogo

(I am hoping to have a pretty good idea as the High School Farm near us has offered to take any roosters and either using them for the student breeding or butchering program)

#1--I believe is a cockerel (very similar to #4 but much smaller body and comb)
#2--I believe is a pullet
#3--I believe is a pullet
#4- is a cockerel as he crows for me every morning and has started doing alert calls to the group
#5--still on the fence but leaning towards pullet-comb hasn't grown any in the last 2 weeks and even coloring, but I am honestly perplexed on this one.

I agree.
#2--I believe is a pullet
I think that's a female-specific color pattern, so yes I would say pullet.
#3--I believe is a pullet
With a comb that small and pale, I agree she is probably a pullet.
#4- is a cockerel as he crows for me every morning and has started doing alert calls to the group
Yes, definitely male!
#5--still on the fence but leaning towards pullet-comb hasn't grown any in the last 2 weeks and even coloring, but I am honestly perplexed on this one.
Like you, I am leaning pullet based on the comb.
