Happens to me all the time.

A tall, oddly-shaped shadow stood in the distance. It was definitely a bird, but not a familiar one. It stood on a log, outstretched it's long, narrow neck. Out came a strange sound, resembling a crow. It had the same beat, but it was a very different voice. The bird looked around, and hopped down. There it stood, scratching and pecking at the ground.
