I am new to raising chicks and have 8 all at 4wks 5days old. 4 of them are Easter eggers that all seem to be really feathered out. I also have 2 black copper marans and 2 rhode island reds but I am not sure if they would be ok to go out to the coop without heat as it gets into the low 50s at night still.

My 5 week olds survived out in 52°F last night. Your's look ready.

We have not taken them outside yet didn't have an area set up till this weekend to contain them.
Ah, ok, then might want to take a week or so to gradually expose them to the outside environment before fully moving them out, i.e. 2 hrs the first day, 4 hrs the next, and by the end of the week they can just stay out.

If they’ve been raised together, they will just bunch up if they get cold. But they look ready depending on what kind of outside area you have. With a small, not-too-drafty coop with enough perch room for them to cuddle up, they’d be fine.

They are currently in the house that rarely gets below 68 without any supplemental heat.
Can you crack open a window in the room where the brooder is?

Can you put them in the coop...or are other other birds already in there?
