feathering question

    bamachicks8 Chillin' With My Peeps

    My favorite chick an ee at 2 wks has significantly more developed tail feathers than the other 10 chicks. Other breeds including 4 rsl one dominque another ee 2 I think are tetra tints and and one light brahma. She is half the size of the other ee. I was just curious if this advanced feathering could indicate a roo?

    Females feather faster than roosters, so fingers crossed it's a hen! :) cute btw

    Wait would this indicate all the others as roos?

    No, I don't think it would. Not sure if there is much difference in mannerisms in the sexes at this age.

    Good because they are all supposed to be pullets with the exception of the Brahma it was a straight run bin. I know I have bad luck but I didn't think it was that bad.
